1 My Digital Day
Think about a typical day. List the apps, websites, or devices you use most. For each one, write whether you think it helps you grow closer to God, pulls you away, or is neutral.
2 Truth Check
Have you ever shared, liked, or reposted something online without checking if it was true? What happened? What would a discerning disciple do differently?
3 The Conscience Scale
Rate yourself honestly on each statement (1 = never, 5 = always):
I think before I post or comment online.
I treat others online with the same dignity I would in person.
I can tell when an app is designed to keep me scrolling instead of thinking.
4 My Commitment
Check the practices you will commit to this week:
- I will pause and think before posting, sharing, or commenting.
- I will verify information before sharing it with others.
- I will spend at least 10 minutes in prayer or silence away from screens each day.
- I will stand up for someone if I see unkindness online.
- I will ask myself: "Does this bring me closer to Christ?"
